build it or buy it?

Gotta start building up the weakest link and the most expensive link unfortunately. I'm runnin an automatic 47RE tranny. Should I build it up or get an already built one eventually? What do yall rekin is the cheapest route. If building my stock one up would be the way to go what all should I get?

honestly I would go with suncoast. if your going to do that

monster12valve 10-17-2011 10:59 AM

suncoast is good stuff... if u dont mind wasting money to have the best name. check out rdp diesel there in ohio. also DTT makes good stuff a friend of mine has one of there trans and it lives great behind 612 hp. he also built the trans himself with there kit, triple disk, billet input and output and shift kit. also rdp quoted me 4100 pulled.. rebuilt and installed. includes billet input a triple disk and a VB.
