Truck won't start or turn over

I had just wired up my o/d switch for my 47rh And it didn't seem to be working so I unplugged the wire from the switch while I was driving and it hit against the 12v and shorted out. The whole truck shut down and now the truck won't start. No ignition the only thing that works are the windows interior lights and exterior lights and horn. I've checked the fuses in both fuse boxes and I'm not sure what to do.

If anyone has had this problem or any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks nick. :argh:

give us some details on how you wired it.

I brought the brown up to the switch, grounded the switch but there is also a 12v from the ignition cause the switch I got has a light in it. I unplugged the brown wire from the switch, coming from the tranny, to see if it would make a difference and when I took it off it must have hit against the 12v and blew something cause the truck just shut off.

just noticed your post says 47rh, so you have 12 valve? wrong forum

No I have a 24 valve. I just put the 47rh in about a week ago I had A nv4500 before

Are you referring to the neutral safety switch? If so I jumped that underneath my dash where it plugged into my clutch before

Have you checked relays?

Tested some things yesterday and I only have power to half of the fuse block on the inside of the driver door. I'm guessing that there's a fusible link somewhere. Does anyone know where it would possibly be located? The one from the battery to the first fuse block is good.
