Its really expensive but i have seen people put a one piece drive shaft in :tu:

I was thinking the same thing. Just gona be super long. I haul heavy loades and fig maybe someone had a fix besides that

The trucks that have a two piece drive shaft tend to go through them pretty quickly. Is yours lifted in the rear at all? Too steep of an angle on the drive shaft will cause them to fail early.

I have an 01 long bed no lift on it, and my carrier is shot to. Vibrates on take off till about 15mph.Whats the best after market fix? and how much am i looking at for a one piece drive shaft?

Wow you realy going thru those bearings that fast! damn, they usually last quite a while I think the 100k to 150k range.

I put one in last January than again over the summer and now its gone again. I haul heavy loads wit it a lot so I need a permanent fix. Looks like one driveline it is.

Mine is not lifted. I stock height stock gears no reason to be goin threw them like this. It's a extented cab long bed

My truck is stock height also and I was rolling through them myself. Finally got tired of it ans took a good look. I found that from the factory the drive line didn't line up at the bearing. I had to fab a spacer to lower the bearing down about 1 1/2 inches and haven't changed it since.

I'll try that before I get a one piece driveline. One more bearing won't kill me i guess.

They are cheap enough. i think they are about 50 bucks if I remember correctly. Just one of those that Rams are famous for :tu:
