Nv4500 issues

Recently i had to put my truck in the shop due to me ripping teeth off third gear, got the truck back about a week ago, i dont use 5th gear very much unless im on the highway, a few days later i finally put it in 5th, all seemed well just crusing, but when i would get on it and then slowly back my foot out of it, it would pop outta gear, now this has been going on since i got it back, it used to do this once in a great while and not all the time, tonight when i put it in 5th it didnt feel so good, i got on it a bit and of course whenever i backed my foot out of it it poped out, so i put it back up in again and i could feel my shifter shaking a good bit and vibrating, what do u all think the issue is? Im going back to the garge tomorrow and demand that they fixed because they gave it back to me after i spent 1300 dollars to get it fixed!!

could be a 5th gear synchro going out or possibly even the but itself has backed off. Based on your past stories on here and in chat, I'm sure your driving style doesn't always help it either. But I would still take it back to the shop, and CALMLY talk to a manager and let them know what it is doing and when it started.

Could be that they didn't get the springs and strut that hold the 5 gear locking ring back In just right. I had one doing the same thing and I replaced the springs, struts, locking ring, and hub and it fixed the problem.
