01 dodge diesell fuel gauge problems
 

i was wondering if this has happened to anybody else. my guage is always full. i replaced the sending unit and did not fix the problem. i cleaned the power distribution box corrosion and even tried anothe cluster to see if faulty gauge. i grounded the number 2 wire on the sending unit. no luck. it does look like the sending unit guage wires have been tampered with. it is possible that one of the wires go mixed up? what colour wires would go to what number? thanks for the help....
