Re: Running a little warm...
As mentioned above change the t stat while your at it, I would flush your cooling system first, when you drain the water the last time, replace your t stat and water pump, then refill w/ 50/50...

I was checking to see how hard it was going to be to pull the radiator out and what kind of time frame I was looking and I found that canister. It's sitting towards the rear of the truck right behind the fan - Everything is gummed up around it. The radiator doesn't actually look all that bad I was expecting worse but the fan blades OMG - PACKED. Definitely getting relocated (lovely piece of :tttt: ) and no it doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned out...
Mine has the newer stock aluminum radiator any easy ways of yanking it out? |
i HAVE A SIMILAR PROBLEM PULLING HILLS WITH MY 8K TRAILER.I'M GOING TO GET A LARGER RADIATOR BECAUSE MOST OF TODAYS ENGINEERS HAVE THIER IN IN THIER BUTT.TOO MUCH SCHOOLING AND NOT ENOUGH COMMON SENCE.THE LAST 3 TRUCKS 3/4 & 1 TONS HAD SKINNY RADIATORS.
