Transmission controlling and YOU
 

I'm looking for any help i can give my tranny (47RE) in the electronics department,

I just got a kick ass Suncoast V/B and a triple disc TRQ converter,

But i'm looking to help assist with lock up and possibly shift characters,

Any one have good things to say about the Co-piolit ? Or any other systems out there like suncoasts ?

with a few feet of wire and a toggle switch you can make your own lockup switch. remove trans relay and "hot wire" without reinstalling relay, then tap the orange/black wire coming off the middle computer plug on ps of firewall and run into the cab to the toggle switch. very easy.

Adjusting the kick down linkage can change shift points as well.

I played with the " T/V " cable some more today, and i'm liking the shift points i think for now'

I just wish the converter would find it's home, and lock up on it's own, with out me having to slightly let off throttle, or wire a manual switch ( altho i will do that for my up and coming trip, as most time will be spent on the free way )

I have the ATS Copilot,works great!!!I set it for 25 mph then back pedal a little around 32 mph keeps the rpms low. I have 4.10 gears so its the nut for city driving. I plan to put on an externalover drive unit for extened hiway driving:tu:
