Front end rattle???

Ok so I have this mysterious rattling i want to say up in the left front portion of my truck. Only when Im off the throttle I believe because my truck is to loud to hear it when Im on the skinny pedal. When Im just cruising at idle I can here this damn ding ding thats driving me nuts. Especially when I pass a building or a concrete retaining wall like bridges etc. I cant seem to figure it out. I can say i have looked, touch and played with just about everything. But I still hear it. Almost sounds like the damn noise makers they put on brakes to tell you when there getting worn rattling around. Yes I checked them. Any body else have/had this problem. Any info would help im about to go insane like the birds chirping outside my bedroom window on the weekend at the butt crack of dawn. By the way they dont like BB's they start flapping around on the ground and never come back but i dont think this will solve the dinging noise on my truck.

Just a shot in the dark but check your front driveline. I guess its common for the CV joint to die. Happened to me. Made noise then vibration then death. Expensive rebuild

Yes I checked it. Best way to describe the noise is like a thin piece of metal tap a solid piece. Picture a fishing weight "being steel" bouncing of the axle tube is the sound its makings. Sorry for the lousy comparison but thats the noise im getting and its very repetitive. Ah forget it im just gonna have to ratchet strap my self to the bottom of the truck and have my wife take it for a spin..lol

No problem Blake! Mine had a rattle that sounded like the front of the truck but it was coming from a loose sway bar link
