Fuel Issue... Maybe

Have an 01 with some strange fuel Issues I think.
Past 2 tanks of fuel the truck has died at 1/4 tank.

First time I was coasting to a stop sign and it just cut out, would not crank at all. it was getting fuel from the lift pump. at lest it was flowing from the bleed valve on the before the injector pump but would not crank. I had to get towed home and ended up removing fuel lines at the injectors to bleed the system (thanks SinWagon) then ran fine.

Today I had almost the same thing happen. Slowed down for some Amish guy in a buggy and it just stalled out in the middle of the hwy going less than 10 miles an hour. cranked it a couple times after sitting for a couple minutes and then it fired up and ran fine the rest of the way home.

It does have a PPE lift pump on it and an unknown flash tune.
I have only had the truck for a couple of months so I am still sorting out little issues but this one has me confused.

Any Ideas ?

well it would be good to know your fuel pressure maybe your tank reads wrong don't go that far down on next tank and see what happens.

I don't have pressure gauges yet, so don't know what its running at.
Not sure if the needle reads exactly right, but by watching the trip odometer I should have about 75 miles left in this tank.
