power steering help?

i noticed that my power steering was starting to get tough so i replaced the power steering pump and put new o rings and a seal in the vaccum pump. but it is still hard to steer i did the bleeding process like my chiltons manual says. it said to fill it up and start it and keep working it back and forth. any sugestions? i did flush out all the old black fluid. and i have no leaks

I do not know if you have a 4x4 or bigger tires like I do, but I can not turn the tires in some cases in a complete stopped position on my truck. Not the best thing when I have my pull travel trailer on the truck.

most reman steering boxes are junk. I went through 4 before I finally broke down and bought a brand new psc.

well i found out what was wrong after replacing my power steering pump and my steering gear box and $250 later. come to find out it was a damn $40 steering stabilizer :argh: the stabilizer had locked up internally and when i took it off the pickup i couldn't get it to move, talk about frustrating.
