with good trailer brakes relatively flat terrain and a stout suspension... 30-35k easy enough..

More than what you want to be stopped by a cop with.
My 00 dually 5spd has had 20k behind it with no problem and that was pulling some slight hills. 30-35k it could handle easily but like stated some damn good brakes and flat roads

I grossed in at 43,XXX lbs. one day truck trailer and all..we have great elec/hydro brakes that will shut us down.... and i did pull some hills with it u just gotta be careful and watch ur guages.. mag hytech pans is a must... and a clutch helps too...

Anybody tow with 22.5's 6 spd and 15k on the bumper?

freind of mine has an 04 megga cab short bed dually with th 6spd manual 4x4 with some add-ons (im not sure what i think just intake and smarty with a clutch and exhuast but not 100% sure) but hey got stoped on his way through OK with 54,300lbs. that was a serious ticket and i wouldn't suggest pulling that much but they can sure handle more then legal thats for sure :tu:
