Cons of stackin smarty and edge comp box?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has any bad news to share about stacking programmers. I have an edge comp on my truck and an Air dog lift pump so i was just pondering the thought of get a smarty tuner and stackin them. Is it a bad idea for and every day driver?

you dont wanna drive it around like that all the time, it gets kinda touchy. but it works out great i ran this stack on the tracks for about 3 years and even on the road some it works nice. just like i said dont run it like that all the time its not good for the pump to be maxed out on timing all the time. i have a smarty for sale if your serious in wanting one.

i believe your money would be better spent on a good set of injectors... say some 125's if your a manual...smaller if not...it will make u more power for ur money..

It's a great stack. :tu:
Just make sure to only run even numbers on the Smarty. Let the Comp do the timing. |
thanx for the comments...like i said i was just ponderin the thought... i just replaced the vp 44 and lift pump so ill probably lay low a while before i blow something else up haha

01quadcab LOST performance in the quarter mile, and his Comp alone made him the quickest. I'm pretty sure that's what he has said in the past.
I also have a Smarty, and have left it on 1 now for a while. Just to get a little more MPG's. After all, a guy cruises more then romps on it....usually. |
