auto to manual swap
any one know of a company that does the swap ive been told by a few people that there is shops that do it but i havent found anything on the net
haha if you were closer i would do it for you, i'm not sure of a shop that specificly does it, but im sure that there are some mechanic shops around you that will take on the project
just be ready for a big bill, not cheap. i recomend selling truck and buying one with manual. next you need to decide 5 or 6 speed. dont let those guys tell you the 6 speed has same gear ratio. I have bolth and the 6 speed is much better towing but anoying in stop and go trafic unles you like shifting, but a 6 speed tows like a semi.
yeah if you pay labor the bill will be outragous! i did it all myself so it wasn't so bad but i went from manual to auto
off subject- you wouldnt still happen to have that manual tranny layin sumwhere would you turbo?
on subject- i talked to a guy that had the swap done and the final bill was like 2500- 3000 range if i remember correctly. |
