new problem to me?
 
last weekend I went on a road trip and noticed every so often for just like a half second my truck act like it pops in nuetral then it is fine for a while and will do it again. No pattern at all. At first I was running truck on cruise control so I turrned it off, but it still doing any. Any ideas?

Sounds crazy but clean your battery terminals. Clean the cables too.

I know its a dumb question but did you check your tranny fluid... While its running!

auto tranny, yes checked fluid while running in nuetral... a while back i cleaned battery cables, might do that again just for the heck of it

sounds like there might be something stopping up the filter. when was the last time the fluid and filter were changed.
