another 53 block question
 

alright so i bought my truck this weekend, truck has 214,000 on it and motor was rebuilt and has 16,000 on it, crawled underneath it and what do ya know there is the big 53 staring me in the face, so i got on here and did some research. the thing thats weird with this block is that on the drivers side of the motor in the front i see the 53, and there is a wiring harness right above it, if i move the harness i can see other numbers stamped into the block.. what are these for and do i truly have a 53 block?

well my block has it on the passenger side strait below the oil filter maybe u can check there? but it has so many miles on it now im sure ur ok to go.

i still would like to know what these other letters and numbers are

i seen an 07B8 in cast right above the 53, whats this mean?
