transmission line pressure
does anyone know what the trans cooler line pressure for a 47re is?

At idle it is 45-65psi and at WOT it is 90-100psi.This is with a stock VB.Aftermarket VB will be more.

The BD VB I had in my 01 made around 135 max.

Wow, and to think the idiots at A1 told me it is only 4 or 5 PSI. Then again, they also built a transmission with zero clearance in the forward clutch.

The OP asked about trans cooler line pressure not what is run throughout the tranny. The trans cooler has much less pressure than the tranny under load. I don't really know what it is but not very much. The cooler in front of the radiator just has rubber hose connections to the steel line. Mine leaked and I cut the metal connection off and replaced it with a screw clamp and has held fine for more than 3 years.
