Diesel fuel in antifreeze....?
my buddy has a 2001 dodge cummins 6bt, 24 valve cummins and hes gettin diesel fuell in his antifreeze, anybody have any idea, hes thinkin injector sleeves?

Injector o-rings, maybe. Injection pump shaft seal is a possibility as well.

i don't think it would be o rings or the shaft seal then it would dump fuel into the oil. do a coolant system pressure test and check for a cracked cylinder or head gasket. i don't believe they have sleeves did't see any when i put my injectors in.

id say headgasket may be split. that happened to my dads cummins and he fixed it and had no more troubles with it

24 valves dont have sleeves on the injectors its molded in the head. a head gasket would either put oil in the antifreeze or antifreeze in the oil. not fuel in the antifreeze. for that to happen the head would have to be cracked either at the conector tubes or the overflow returns. thats really an odd problem, ive never heard that one. just make sure it is fuel and not oil.
