I was in the process of tryin to install a new steering stabilizer today when I got a rude awakening of sorts. It doesn't fit. I called Superlift to talk to them about it and found out that I have the heavy duty suspension and the standard duty 2500 parts won't fit. The brackets they sent are supposed to be bolted to my Tie rod but they don't fit over mine and I had to do some customizing to get the bracket over the axle. Come to find out they don't make a stabilizer for the heavy duty trucks so I'm gonna fab up some new brackets and make this one work.

So my question here is what's the differences between the HD and Standard Duty 2500 suspension components. What I have is the 8800 pound class truck.

By the way, this is what I'm installing.Attachment 2527

I've got the Dana 60 front axle on my truck, don't know what everybody else has. The standard duty is refferred to as the 7700 pound rated, if I remember it right.

The standard duty or lighter suspension is in the 5.9/360 gasser trucks. The V10 and diesels have the heavier suspension.
