Need Help with a few Trouble Codes

PCU
P1693

ECU
P0121
P0122
P0230

I just did the Vulcan Big Line Kit Install and now I have these 4 Codes.
I believe the 1693 is just letting me know that the ECU has Codes correct?

What about the other 3
TPS and LP Circuit Malfunction?

What would be causing these codes?

RAW 12-26-2010 10:28 AM

Are they active or causing the truck trouble? 1693 is a companion code, and as you said just let's you know.

If I'm cruising around normal (45-65) I get a dead pedal every so often.
If I pump the pedal a couple times it will take off again. Other than this I don't think I have any more problems.

P0121 Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS)
Signal Voltage Too Low

P0122 Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS)
Signal Voltage Too Low

P0230 Transfer Pump (Lift Pump) Circuit
Out of Range
Problem detected in fuel transfer pump circuits.

Need to ckeck the lift pump wiring, and if you disconnected the batteries you need to do a APPS reset.

InsaneDomestics 12-26-2010 08:31 PM

Yes I did disconnect the batteries so how do I do the reset?
The LP wiring is fine other than the extension that Vulcan provided is about 5ft to long, should I cut it and splice it back together at the correct length?
I wouldn't think the extra length would matter but I guess it's possible.

RAW 12-26-2010 08:42 PM

Let batteries sit disconnected for at least 1/2 hour. Reconnect them, turn key ON but do not start. Slowly push accelerator pedal all the way to the floor, then slowly bring it back. Take 3 - 5 seconds going each way. Turn key OFF, then try again.
Extra length should make no difference.

Well, I adjusted the Voltage going to the APPS. It got rid of the dead pedal but the codes are still showing up.
Should I try going to Autozone or someplace and clear the codes to see if they come back or should I go ahead and do the reset?

Dr. Evil 12-27-2010 01:58 AM

resetting the APPS likely wont clear the codes. Go to autozone and BUY yourself a scanner.

RAW 12-27-2010 08:13 AM

Agreed, having a scanner with you is a good idea. Even the most basic that show and delete codes are extremely handy, and aren't that much money.

Got another problem.
I went out to my truck this morning and I had a puddle of diesel in my driveway.
I got underneath the truck and it was leaking from the top of my tank where the lines are.
I couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from but why would it be leaking from the top of the tank???
