From what I've seen the wires should be there in the column under the turn sig switch and if I remember right the main wore is pink and yellow I believe but I will look in the morning and let you know

Auto or manual?

manual

The buttons might be all you need. By 2001 The manuals were controlling the cruise control directly in the ECM. So you won't have to worry about vacuum solenoids or things like that.

Unless the clock springs are different, there should be 2 connectors that aren't used behind the air bag. Make sure you pull the fuses before you pull the air bag out. If not then you might have to buy a different clock spring.

you have to change your clock spring, and add your buttons. easy as that. make sure you let the power drain out of your system long enough to not set off your airbag. other than that, your wiring harness is ready to go because you have a manual. you don't need a servo or anything, the cruise is directly between your pcm and your vp44. I know all of this because I bought more parts than I needed to put cruise on mine...
