white grey smoke under boost

so... truck currently has a airtex lift pump / new reman vp and a intake elbow.

the truck runs fine and the cel is not on.
if the cel is not on could there sitll be codes?

well anyways.. when i get on boost at high boost it sometimes smokes with more smoke coming out with boost pressure.
under normal load and 1/2 throttle no smoke.. even at times at wot there is no white smoke.

any ideas?
i recently replaced my boost hoses and noticed that there was quite a bit of oil on the first hose coming out of the turbo.

could my turbo be shot?

i know its not a headgasket leak

in terms of gauges.. i dont have anything right now.. i ordered them but they are still in the process of shipping..

Lack of fuel is probably causing the smoke. Check your lift pump quick, before it kills another Injector pump. You need to check the fuel output pressure of the LP to find out why the lack of fuel. A pressure gauge is mandatory on these trucks that you can see at all times. It could also be clogged fuel filter or pick-up tube problem in the fuel tank.

Be sure to fill out your signature with truck details so we know what all you have. And most important, welcome to the site. :c:

just did the fuel filter today.. it wasnt too bad.
just waiting on my gauges..
dont want to push it just in case i am doing damage to the vp...
should i go airdog 150 or raptor 150?
also if i go raptor do i just need the new banjo's or should i just go with a vulcan big line kit?

Airdog or FASS will both do the job, it's a coin toss between them. Personally I always suggest getting rid of all the banjo bolts in the system. They severely restrict flow in the system.

how about the raptor? i dont know if i want to bypass the oe fuel filter canister...

I have a FASS Heavy Duty series 150, and it is plumbed to the factory fuel canister. Remember that what the kit comes with doesn't dictate which way you have to install it. Raptor is cheaper, quicker, and easier. Personally, I like to do it once, and do it right.
