would anybody be able to tell me if there is a difference for mounting between the automatic and standard transmission trucks?

There is a difference between the two, auto has a HY35, manual a HX35. I did post a thread on here a while back that shows the difference between the two. If you have a auto, I suggest upgrading to the HX35 to fix the issue. If not, I'm not too sure where to looks for parts.

HY35's and HX35's are 100% interchangeable. I did the swap this spring and noticed a difference right away. You can watch the For Sale Forum, or post something in the Wanted section as well.

I swapped the complete turbo, wastegate and all. You can generally find HX35's for the $300 range. I paid $250, I think, for mine.

You have an over boost code. Without a fooler or programmer the ECU will cut back fuel at 25PSI.
