Tow Mirrors Help
Hey guys today I just ordered the flip out dodge tow mirrors for my 98.5 dodge 4x4 cummins from A1 Auto got a hell of a price for them 2 manual mirrors for 173.95 cant pass up a deal like that! But any ways I was wondering if I have to get a special bracket or somthing like that. They told me it should just bolt right up and im set so idk im confused if I have to get the brackets or they will be fine without em'.

yes you do need the bracket to reinforce the door, there is more wind load on these mirrors. if you're being "affordable", you could just make a plate out of like 1/8" sheet. that bracket only has three holes in it to match the studs in the mirror, it's just a big washer.

go to the dodge dealer and order the brks there not expensive...and fyi when you do install them be very careful of the wires there very easy to pinch upon install
