Default Turbo questions

My truck sat fer about 2 months due to needing a VP. I replaced the VP and added a Raptor100 and it seems to be running fine, although theres a whinning coming from what seems to be the turbo area. I put a new AEM cheap dry filter on it, but when I mash the pedal, it increases the rpms, and then I get this high high pitched whistle. It NEVER did it before it sat, could I have a failing turbo? Could it be a bearing? When I mash the throttle my temp gauge increases kind of fast (like 200-210) but I only stay in it fer a second and thats the highest I've seen. I dont have a gauge, im talking about the factory one. Running normal it runs fine, no heat issues, and it's 95 degrees now, its only when I've mashed it those couple times. Could I have wastegate issues, maybe my T-stat going bad What can I check for???
Any info is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Billy D

That is normal mine does the same thing but very fast (temp climbing). You have a auto trans? 95 degree air intake is going to make any truck temp climb fast.As for the turbo if it is a hy35 they have aways made noise in the high rpm,I know mine did.You have made the truck happy with the new vp and raptor.

A boost leak can produce a high pitched sound. May not be a bad idea to go over all your clamp and check the tightness.

mine started making a high pitched squeak one time and check over everything and turned out one of the rubber boots coming off the intercooler was blown open, dodge wanted 160 bucks just for that boot, luckily i found a guy who just upgraded his and gave me his old one. so might want to check that. other then that my turbo squeals real high pitched in high rpms too.

The only gauge I got is a FP gauge, my factory temp gauge goes up to about 200-210. Is that to hot? I checked for leaks, everythings tight, could it be a bearing, do they make noise when they start going out? The shaft seems tight, it spins freely, no crap in it.
