just make sure all of the juice is drained out of the pcm/ecm. take both batteries loose first, and turn the key on for about 20 30 min. take the airbag off pull the wheel. clock spring has two plastic clips and one plug for electric. on an automatic, you need to add the cervo unit under the drivers side battery, you already have the plug for it in place, and I have a cervo that I thought I needed, but then I read in my book, that on the manuals, the pcm communicates directly with the vp44 to control the speed.
for parts, I just ended up picking up a steering column from the junkyard for $200 that had the steering wheel with switches and tilt for a bonus option:rocking:
let me know if you need that cervo, I can send it to you for a few bucks.
