Raptor mounting on frame
Man it seens to me theres no where to mount my Raptor. The bracket that came with the kit doesn't seem big enough to rap the frame. Do I have the wrong mounting bracket? Can I mount it directly to the frame? Do I need to use the spacer that came with the kit? Easy azz kit, is a pain in my azz:w2: If anyone has pics of where, and what theres looks like I would greatly appreciate it:c: Can I leave the pump hanging a little past the bottom of the frame? Geeeeeezzz:humm:

I chose not to sandwich the frame, cut the mounting bracket down and used some existing holes in the frame to bolt the bracket direct. It's a little loud at startup, I am going to mount some isolators to fix that. I didn't think it was that bad of an install, just a little time consuming for me because I am so picky about the way things look. |
Whats the isolators for, noise? From the pump? I kinda thought the Raptor would be quiet.:humm:

I just bought the pump and made my own bracket by the tank pickup. Bolted directly to the frame and I never hear it. I can barely hear it with the engine stopped and bumping the starter.
