on my 01 twin turbo cummins i was woundering why is my truck blowing white smoke at idle and while i am going down the road could it be just the 250 injectors i bought a used s300 when i did my twins and the waste gate does not move could that be the problem

Are you loosing any coolant, and not seeing a puddle? If so..... head gasket. Does it happen all the time, or at certain temperatures or loads? When did it start happening?

i would say it is unburned fuel. that aint good thought if it is washing the rings out.

if im not mistaken...white smoke equals underfueled. are you getting plenty of fuel to those big injectors?

whats your exhaust smell like fuel or maybe coolant are you losing any coolant or is your engine oil getting thin or smell like fuel and is it smoking constantly when going down the road :humm:

White smoke is from unburnt fuel or moisture in the combustion chamber.

i am not losing any antifreeze the oil is still thick and does not smell like diesel i have a air dog 150 on it have i have 14 to 17 psi the smoke smells like diesel could it be a blown head gasket that is blown between the cylinders the truck still has alot of power or could it be that my injectors need to be pop tested they were used off of a different truck that had less that 5000 miles on them he sold the truck so i got the pump and the injectors off of him
