front wheel bearings?
what brand wheel bearings are best in your opinion? which ones should i stay away from

Timken is it. This is a job you don't want to do a second time. While your in there think about anything you can change out while it's apart. U-joints, rotors, ball joint, those kinds of things.

Friggin PAIN IN THE BUTTOUKOUS to get to all that stuff!!!!!! I'm fixing to jump into this myself.... although.... far as I can remember from the last time I was in there, the wheel bearings are unitized with the hubs.... the bearings aren't independently serviceable. :argh: |
Our 99's are all one piece but I'm not sure about his 02, someplace in those years they changed that.
