Cummins Dead Pedal, Need Help!!

2001 Cummins 4x4 2500, This truck will not run over 15 mph, zero throttle response while cold, after 5 minutes or so, runs like a top. What's the problem???

Sounds like a dying VP44. Have it scanned for codes, whether or not the check engine light is on.

Remember your check engine lite doesnt have to be on to have a problem they can be stored in what is called pending code also.
