reving
hey guys. ill be driving my truck at about 45 mph and it will start to rev like it wants to down shift but it doesnt. what could this be. with this could some one explain what a torque converter lock up switch does. thanks in advance.
45 mph is about where the tc locks up its a fine line the tc lock up swith basically allows you to lock the converter when you want to

So the reving at 45 to 50 is more a lock up thing? Not a major issue? Now I just keep the o/d off button pushed until I hit over 50 then it doesn't do it's odd downshift rev.
