Default ROD & MAINS

anyone know recomended service is for rod and main bearings on ISB? Nothing wrong here just want to prevent problems..

Are you thinking of rolling in a new set? How many kms/miles on the engine? It shouldn't need to be done unless some low oil pressure symptoms arise.

No problems. We recommend then in big rigs every 500k, Not to sure about the isb's though. Just like to have the added security of knowing i have done them. Not that i really want to spend the better part of a weekend doing them. Oil pressure is great, no new sounds i haven't heard before, no pistons hanging out of the block. Just wanting to prevent all that from happening if i could. Just didn't know when it should be done if it even needs to be done at all.

I have a oil pressure gauge on both my trucks.They tell alot.
