I' ve been wanting to do something with my exhaust either a muffler for my 4 inch turbo back or put stacks on my truck but the noise is starting to get to me. Does anybody have any ideas for a quieter exhaust mod or what do you run. My truck is a 98.5 quadcab 8 ft bed. Thanks need help:s:

a muffler will quiet it down

I could immediately notice a difference in the cab when I put my 5" MBRP with muffler on. The truck had factory sized exhaust, strait piped before. Much quieter in and out after the MBRP, until you mash the throttle:w2: I have heard people talking about putting sound absorbent material in the doors, and on the floor of the cab. It is a route I am going to try one day as well.

Stacks are going to make your in cab noise much more noticeable. but i live by the rule . . . IF ITS TOO LOUD YOUR TOO OLD!

Yeh, It's true my age is starting to show , anybody have an idea on what kind of muffler to get that won't restrict my exhaust flow but will also help with the noise level?:humm:
