Lift pump leaking

I got a fuel leak on this truck I am fixing up ,It looks like its leaking diesel from the bottom part of the lift pump. Is there a place were they can leak from there ,all I saw was a wire connection there and I also checked the two fuel connections on each side and they look dry the only part I could see fuel dripping was from the bottom of the lift pump.Do I have to replace the pump ? or is there something else I got to look for? thanks for your help!

i think thats a weep hole to let you know when the seal is leaking and i think you have to replace the lift pump i dont think it is serviceable :humm:

I would highly suggest an aftermarket lift pump over the cummins one. They are not exactly known for being very reliable... :ouch:

DO NOT buy one from Cummins, or even a "rebuild" from Ebay... Oh blah blah its a Bosch shop.. whatever. Bosch wouldn't even make the damn pump right in the first place! Get a hold of one of our vendors on here or do a "request a quote" for one. These guys know there stuff and getting a performance one means its BUILT to handle it! Thats just my .02$
