If it has an Automatic Transmission then its a SO.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that the 2001 H.O. (245hp/505tq) was only mated with the 6-speed manual NV5600 transmission. My understanding is that the 235 hp S.O. engine came with either the auto or the 5-speed NV4500 transmission options.

There is another way to tell. On the driver's side of the engine closest to the radiator is a nameplate that is vertical. It gives the motor hp rating and some other info.
