parallel or series
i had a quick question and it may be kind of stupid but are the 2nd gen batteries wired in series or parrallel
i believe its considered parallel. each battery grounds itself, and the positive goes battery to battery
alrigth thanks thats what i thought just wanted to make sure
They are wired in Parallel if they were in series if you disconnected one the other would not work.
They are absolutely parallel! If they were in series they would product 24 Volts, these truck WILL NOT handle 24 Volts.
how would you even wire on in parallel? :ouch: i cant think of howd you would even be able to do it
All that has to happen is have the positives and negatives connect to one another.

For Parallel connect both the negative's to ground and both positive's to power you could also connect +to+ and -to- and then from 1 + to power and 1- to ground. wired in series would be 1st battery + to power, - to + on 2nd battery 2nd battery - to ground. and that would give you 24volts rather than double the capacity at 12volts. :c:
