Upgrades to a 6 speed manual??
 

The other day i snapped/stripped 6th gear in my truck.. i was wondering if there are any real worthwhile upgrades to do to this thing.. or is it just gonna keep breaking on me?? I can't afford a full build but maybe some cheap tricks or something??

as far as i know there isnt any after market upgrades to go in the trans. here is a bump so maybe someone else can help you out with better details on it. sorry to hear ya broke it, good luck with the fix :tu:

They dont make the NV5600 anymore and stock parts are scarce, and I highly doubt your going to find aftermarket ones unless you have them custom made.

I have never had any problems finding stock replacements.. Mine is a 4500 i'm pretty sure..

You have the 5600. The NV 4500s are 5 spds
