NV5600 parts situation?

Hi there. My job took me out of the country (USA) for a couple of years, and I've been out of touch with diesel stuff. I'm just getting back into restoring an '01 2500. I've got the NV5600 out of the truck and in initial tear-down. Last I heard - a few years ago - parts for that transmission were difficult to find since New Venture folded. Still true? or has the situation changed? Any good sources to steer me toward?

Thanks.

edit - well, oops - can tell I'm a newb - this one's supposed to go in the 24 valve forum - mea culpa (embarrassment).... moderator, feel free to move.

Whit: Thanks for the help. I actually did google before asking, but when I called several outfits, the answer was "not in stock, don't know when or if." Was assuming that parts availability was still an issue, but thought I'd ask.

Dr. Evil: Nice to hear from a familiar avatar. Happy to be here - always assuming, *ahem* that there isn't too much comparison going on between dipsticks and sitting presidents of either party.... imo, that got a little old. :tttt:

Hey there's a guy selling a NV5600 if your interested I can contact him with you it's at a very good price I would say very very cheap he was asking 1500 and I think he would let it go for 1200. Let me know I hope this helps.

Thanks for the welcome - first time here - my comment related to goings-on on a different diesel forum DE & I are members of.

I needed several specific parts, and apparently you don't have to scavenge anymore - there are a couple of sources for new hardware. Found what I needed.
