upgrades for truck with stock trans

im wanting to do some upgrading on my truck but im a little scared about my transmission. i was thinking some injectors or a different programmer.. right now im just running a superchip flashpaq. should i just save my money and start upgrading the trans? im needing some input on this one...:humm:

i would do the transmission first. i have 325 hp in a stock trans with a Suncoast triple disk converter and ripped the guts out of it:dang:. be a good idea :tu:

how long have you had that superchip in there? I ran an Edge EZ (with my stock tranny) and with in 6 months it started slipping.. Deffinelty have to do something with the tranny... that is the Achelle's heel of these trucks when adding power:dang:.
you could put injectors or any power upgrade you wanted on the truck but without being able to get it to the ground its almost worthless... JMO

i've had my super chip on for about a year now. so far no tranny problems knock on wood... but im pretty sure im gonna go ahead and bite the bullet and get a goerend... seems like its the best out there... but who knows just have to get one and see...

i'm in the same boat.it's just a hell of alot of money to get up all at once.i was thinking of gathering 5 spd part's to do a auto to manual swap.

injectors along with the mods you have shouldnt be to bad.. but id do it right... "no matter the job, big or small, do it right or not at all"
