whats your alls opinion on the best 50hp injectors.

Hit up Luke for some he has good prices on them but you might be better off buying new injectors

If you have a good shop close by that can set them up and pop test them for ya then get the nozzels. If not then I would get the full injectors.

whats the deal with the pop test, the truck only has 60,000 miles im sure thier fine i just wanna upgrade and dont feel like buying the whole injector and nozzels are cheaper you know,.

whats the pop test?

NCFPD 01-26-2010 07:31 PM

basicly when you take off the nozzle and put new onws on there certin shimms inside and alot of other stuf that must be set just right the pop test is a test that makes sure they spray just right and they pop open at the right psi I think im not totally sure bout all that but thats what i have herd

powerstroker52 01-26-2010 07:35 PM

so i take it these arnt as easy as my nozzels on my stroker, i rebuilt my stroker ionjectors more then once without and problems so are thesse tottaly differnt?

Pop-testing is to make sure the injector opens at a certian psi between 1800 to 1950 psi.If the prussure is not equal on each injector there will be idle issures, dead cylinder problems. You are going to change that when you change the nozzels.
