muffler

Is it better to run a muffler or strait pipe on a 01 dodge 2500.:rocking:

I have seen on here that a GOOD performance muffler show better gain on the Dyno, but for unknown reasons. I'm running straight, and love it!:jump:

in my opinion [welcome to diesel bombers a good place to hang out] now back to my opinion thats up to you myself i like the sound of a straight pipe.

i bought my truck straight pipe 5" and it was cool. but it droned bad and ya couldn't here other people or the radio so i put a straight thru magnaflow on. still sounds cool but not anywhere near as "drony."

That is the main reason I am not putting a stack(s) on my truck. I don't want any "drone" in the cab.
