throttle postion problems

Alright so here goes. I go down the road say at any steady speed. Once in a while I get total dead pedal just for a couple of seconds. then on the off then on again. check engine light comes on. Reads fault code for tps. Tps is changed and same problem. Most of the time now when you are at a steady speed the rpms jump all over the place meaning down and up but never higher then what I have the accelerator pressed. I have had it to a shop they think it is an intermittent wiring issue. I have changed the tps and the alternator tps has also been adjusted checked all battery connections and cleaned them.:scare2:some one please try and help me.

How about the connections between the APPS and the ECM? Kind of sounds like there is a connection that is being temporarily interrupted.
I have also heard that relocating the ground wire to/from the APPS can remedy throttle position issues, and TQ issues as well.

Clear the codes after you reset the APPS.

sensor has been reset quite a few times, it will also go like 2 or 3 hours of plowing running just fine
