2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel
I have a 2002 Dodge ram 2500 diesel that I am pulling a map and iat sensor code on. My mechanic thinks it is the ECM but is not sure. I only have about 1/4 of the pedal and then nothing happens after that. If anyone has had this problem and could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks

Ground on the PCM, Bad TPS, Bad Sensor Voltage...First place to start is the batteries
|
Pull both sensors and clean them with sensor cleaner - not anything else. Next, clear the codes and see what it does. If it is still acts up or the power dies off then you will want to determine if you have any air and enough fuel getting in there.
You need gauges if you don't have them. Having said that, testing the batteries, checking grounds and lastly, getting the ECM overwritten with the stock SMARTY code is probably on the radar. |
:howdy::hi:
It really sounds like a ground issue to me... :humm: |
x3 always start with checking the grounds with any electrical issues they always get overlooked and mis diagnosed :argh: and BTW:hi:

:hi:Grounds and batteries first.......:hellox:

Wouldn't that be dead pedal? And when I got he low voltage code that wire that plugs into the electronic pedal by the intake. It was unpluged.
