Lopping
Hey i was wandering how you get your truck to lope i like how it sounds. Also what makes it do that and is it good or bad for it to be doing that. I have a 98.5 CTD

Bigger fuel lines .093, big injectors, and a P7100 pump. Its not really good for your truck and it makes it darn near impossible for any kind of in town driving.

Monster pumps and HRVP44 will sometimes makes that lope your looking for. Also Coaltrain diesel was offering just the delivery valves , which are the cause for the lope.
With that said, HRVP44's and monster pumps are JUNK! they'll do nothing for your truck! |
He said that its bad for intown driving whys that
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- oh what exactly is the deliever valves were are they located and well just tell me a lil bout them please |
well delivery valves are for 12valves, unless he typed wrong...and yeah there is driveability issues because that lope is gonna be doing that not only when your idling at a stop light looking cool but also when your trying to start moving so until you get your RPM's up it will want to surge so to speak...

Oh ok well thanks i guess i wont look into that any more that kinda sucks bec. i love the lope not to much lope but a little. thanks again another bad decision made right

All pumps have to have a way to build the pressure needed to fire the injector. The VP-44 does have a delivery valve but IIRC it's sold as a complete assembly.
