You either have to use a Turn Buckle or J-Hook.

Ok where do i get one and is it a do it yourself project or is it complicated?

We can get you a J-Hook from Bully Dog which will still allow the wastegate to open or you can fab up a turn buckle and it clamps the wastegate closed.

Plug it off! I did it to my 2001, and it has been a beast ever since. 18 Lbs. to 29 Lbs. of boost. At first I put a plastic plug over the tube to the pot, it melted. Then I tapped the tube, and installed a 10-24 screw into the tube. Ground off the excess of the head on the screw, and slammed 'er back into the turbo. From the outside it looks fine, but on the inside the pot is sealed off! Instant boost increase.

Plugging the wastegate is not only a bad idea but it actully makes less power. I suggest using a J-hook or a Boost increase valve. DO NOT block off the wastegate, it's there for a reason. You'll over speed your charger causing premature failure. Until 35lbs it will make good cool air, but get much over 35 you start making useless heat and loosing power!

I`ll get a pict of it up soon, smaller tires have recently been installed for winter. 305/70R16, GoodYear Wrangle Silent Armour. As for the hostility about NOT plugging off the wastegate line, I still have not had a problem, turbo has not suffered damage, and it is still AWESOME.
