muffler vs straight

I have 4 inch magnaflow on my truck, it has a huge muffler i was wonding if i should take it out and just put a straight pipe in its place? how will this change my power and mpg?

won't gain any hp or mpg. but on the up side it will sound like a big rig.

strait pipe is the only way to go IMO

I think that they make a muffler delete kit dont they? or should i just get 4inch pipe and put some exh clamps on it?

REDRIDE13 09-11-2009 07:45 PM

any decent exhaust shop could give you piece to put in it.

I know you are all gonna think I'm a puss, but I don't like how loud my straight pipe is...

I'm not even old!:ouch:

I agree with you it doesn't make the cab sound very good inside. I no longer have this problem.
