tranny problems
 

driving down the freeway i let off the fuel pedal and hit it again andd my tranny downshifted, and stuck in that gear!! im not sure what happened. but i pulled over and shut the truck down. then i hooked up my superchips flashpaq and re programmed it to stock, fired it up and drove it, and its not doing it anymore.. is my flashpaq screwing my tranny up? i just had the tranny rebuilt and new torque converter put in like 2 months ago. any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks. :ouch:

ok well i think i figured out what happened.. i installed the tc lockup switch like how riggle21 said to, and then getting on the freeway i flipped the switch, the tc locked up and then when i flipped it off, it stayed locked. now that ive unhooked the tc switch she runs like a top again.. dont think the switch was a good idea :humm:, so in the morning ill reprogram the truck and take her for another test drive and see how it does.. hope it goes well, supposed to haul a 10,000 lbs load to illinois on thursday! :argh:

with the converter lock up switch on your truck should not down shift. I run one in mine and have no issues
