fuel problems!!!!!

I talked to my local injection shop the other day and they said they would bench test a VP44 for $70 as long as it was off the truck when they got it. May want to give that a shot before you spend a grand plus on a new one.

It's a dealer only item but get it from Cummins, Much cheaper. Give me a few minutes and I'll find ya a part number.

5011 824AA Check Valve, Fuel This is a Dodge part number but Cummins can cross reference it for ya.

Almost all Cummins big truck shops are open till midnight or all night. Big trucks never stop runnin so get to callin. I want to hear this truck is back on the road.

where i live in north carolina there is not big truck places around here. there was one semi shop just down the road but he went out of buisness.


is it possible to rebuild the vp yourself???

Not a chance. To much specialized equipment involved.

that makes since why they are so high. so all the repair shops ive called are closed now. and the only ones i could find that said any thing about repairing cummins is 119 miles away i really hate this F-N state. ill be glad when im out of the corp and back home were things make since.
