Hi I am about to order an airdog what do you recommend 100 or 150 ?
I got a 2000 dodge ram 2500 4 x4 5 spd.

if you plan on doing more to your truck 150. and really with price difference might as well get 150

I went ahead and order the airdog 100 but know I am thinking in sending it back I order it because I am only going to put a banks exaust k&n filter and edge and the rep told me that it would work for me but know after reading your opinions I am thinking that I should got the 150 series.

100gph is a ton of fuel still my fass 95 supports me fine

I just finished installing the airdog on my truck and it seems to work great put I got a question for you guys is there anything you suppose to do to the fuel canister?
I left it just as it was but my instructions it said that it was not recommended to leave the canister so what are you suppose to do ? O and one more thing now that I have installed it do you all know were and how do I tap the fuel line to put in a dipricol fuel gauge with the isolator? Thank you!

Go to Vulcan performance and get a tapped JIC Eblow and you can hook up your fuel pressure gauge...

As for keeping the stock filter housing you can as long as you have 1/2 hose from the filter forward to the VP44. Which my setup has...

get rid of the stock filter/housing and run the fuel line straight to your vp44.:U:

I kept mine because my winter are extremely cold and the fuel heater is very welcomed to aid in warming the fuel getting to the VP44... My winters typically -20*F in the daytime... Without the fuel heater you take a risk of gelling up completely...:w2:

Well I follow the instructions of the air dog booklet and I ran my 1/2 hoes directly from the air dog to the vp44 . But I don't know what exactly means when it mentions "It is NOT NECESSARY to keep factory filter in the system. This will cause additional flow restriction to the VP_44.

O and I was thinking in putting maybe a push lock tee in the fuel line and connect the gauge there. What do you think?
