Got the new injection pump!!
wondering on any advise for the install thx guys will give a through review after install
|
You can get by with taking only the front 3 injection lines off completely. The back 3 ya should be able to work outta the pumps way without bending them.
|

|
If you need any advice, then post up. I'll be away from my computer in an hour or two. BUt you can reach me on my cell.

which one of us...or both

Who ever needs it.
It applies to everybody. I've beenin that spot before. You get a new part and really want to put it on. But, you're concerned that you might find yourself in a bind. Or You get the part. Say "hell yeah, I can do this. No problem". Then there's a problem and nobody to help. Look me up if you need it. ~Wes~ |
cool, thats what i love about the diesel community
|
ohh mannnn ok so i get the new pump on but the lines are not hooked up yet along with the injectors not being it, im thinking about taking this time to do a valve adjustment it kinda looks like it need one. ok well night all
also you dont need a fancy injection pump puller a steering wheel puller from checkers worked perfet for me =D 15 bucks and i get it refunded on return |
Yep, no special tools really required. I make my own pullers for the injection pumps. I just use some 3/8" flat strap double layered and holes drilled in each end. Works perfectly.
The valve adjustment is easy and straight forward. I just rolled in from the street races and I'm about to hit the bed. But I'll be up about 6:45 and my phone should be back on by 8:00. So, if you need anything, I'm here. |
