You could put a plastic bag over your air filter, that would give you black smoke cheap!
Seriously though, without more fuel a boost fooler is a waste. Look for a small box in classifieds (Van Aaaken is nice and cheap as they are out of business), alternately look for a Quadzilla XZT or Edge EZ. Most of the boxes already do boost fooling too.

sea drive is right, not sure what tranny youve got, but if youve got an auto, you cant do much, if youve got a 5spd, you can add some power with out killing the tranny. I reccomend you co with something along the lines of an Edge EZ, or if you want a lot more, the Edge juice with attitude or the TST powermax. two things you MUST do first however is
1. Upgrade to a better lift pump, aka FASS 95 GPH would be great for you
2. get a fuel presure gauge(not needed if you get the edge juice with attitude as it comes with it)
the other way to make smoke without a programer is to get you a set of injectors, youll still need the items above or you be setting yourself up for some problems later on. hope this helps some. get you some RV series injectors, they run under 300 bucks and give you a 45+ hp gain

then the very very first thing you should do is upgrade the lift pump, you cant have smoke with out fuel and the factory lift pumps are junk. get a FASS 95 gph or a an Airdog Raptor lift pump, they run about 380-450 depending on exact model.
